I’m passionate about hyper-local resilience models, community building, emergency preparedness, supporting new parents through birth + postpartum, events and experiences that give life, and creating better systems.
As a systems-maker and producer, I help individuals and organizations with project management, event production, and creating more efficient workflows. I’m an avid Notion user, I use AI to work smarter, and I’m a scheduling and budgeting whiz. I’m known for turning chaos into structured systems.
As a proud prepper and certified emergency management and homeland security specialist, I help individuals, families, neighborhoods, and non-profits prepare for the worst, through a collectivist and self-empowering lens.
I started my career working in film production, but after over a decade of working in four different countries as a producer and writer, I realized that I wanted to do something else with my life. I first became a birth and postpartum doula, before I discovered that the skills that made me good at production and birth support - logistics, systems, staying calm when things are stressful, always having a backup plan for the backup plan - were emergency preparedness skills, and that I wanted to get involved in grassroots-level resilience. Hundreds of hours of trainings later, I became a certified emergency management and homeland security specialist through CalOES.
The trainings cemented a truth for me: we need new models outside of government to prepare for the emergencies ahead. So I started the Piedmont Ave Resilience Committee, founded Resilient Peeps - emergency preparedness consulting for collectivists - and the Resilient Neighborhoods Network, a Bay-Area collective of 40+ neighborhoods who are working on hyper-local disaster resilience. These days, I’ve accepted that there are many things that give me meaning, and a lot of things that I want to do. So now I do a little bit of all of them 😊
